Mallory's Summer Fashion Favorites

Well, this started out being a birthday wish list post, BUT since I've found so many of the items running on great sales, I've already acquired most of them (...and my birthday isn't until the 11th-whoops)!

So I'll call it a Summer Favorites List instead and share all of the items details and links favorite with you guys!  You know... in case online shopping is your thing too.  My husband says it's like Christmas day every day at our house because I'm always shopping online.  He can thank me later for saving him gas money ;)

ONE // These Coral Tassel Earrings will make a statement with any outfit (even a simple tee), and they are the perfect color for summer!

TWO // I purchased a black flutter sleeve shirt from BR in this exact same style this spring and get compliments on it every time I wear it.  I decided to add one more to my closet, this time in a fun pattern Flutter Sleeve Plaid Shirt.

THREE // I have a pair of snakeskin sandals I bought a few summers ago and have worn them out to the point of them coming apart.  I loved them so much because they went with everything (great for trips when you need to pack less!). I couldn't find another exact pair but these Snakeskin Sandals will be a great substitute.

FOUR // I spotted these adorable Fringe Sandals on a recent trip to Target (for almond milk and baby swim diapers--isn't that how it goes?)  I did a quick try-on and instantly knew I wanted them!  Great price for a knock-off look.

FIVE // I ordered this Large Tweed Pouch when BR was having a 40% off all sale promotion going on.  It's large, hence the name, and has a lot of cute colors in it.  The fringe down the side is just icing to the cake.  It'll be a great purse for a dinner out, and I've already got it in my suitcase for an upcoming trip!

SIX // My current gold watch is 8 years old and needs another new battery so I decided to see what other options were out there.  I somehow came upon this Gold Watch, and I love the large face and sleek design.

SEVEN // I ordered this Chambray Off The Shoulder Top in my first TJMaxx online shopping experience.  When you can't get to the store, get to the internet :) It looks so cute with white jeans, and you can't beat the $20 price tag!

EIGHT // I purchased this Embroidered Off The Shoulder Top at the same time and love the fun colors and embroidery.  It is a juniors top so I ordered up a size for a little extra length.  It was a little more than I usually like to spend on a TJMaxx top, but I couldn't resist the fun pattern for summer! 

So there you have it--my summer favorites.  Enjoy! I know I will!

Vendor Spotlight-CB2

If you haven't heard of CB2 before now, you've been missing out!  They are apart of the same company that claims Crate&Barrel and Land of Nod so that tells you have they have some good stuff.  They are known for more modern, affordable pieces with great style and function.  I've selected a few of my favorites to show you what I mean.

1.  This lamp has a beautiful shape that would look good in any space.
2.  The lines and finish (matte black!) of this candlestick are so unique.  It's a classic with a modern touch--my favorite.
3.  I love the pattern on this throw...and they fact that it's reversible.  Two for the price of one!
4.  When I was looking into getting another desk for my office, this was my favorite option.  It has great clean lines and tons of hidden storage (the front part pulls out to hide all of your unneeded things)--genius. 

5. I have a love for all things lucite and hexagon shapes, so this tray was the perfect marriage of that.  What a stylish way to display some accessories or serve some drinks.
6.  Brass is back--and not in the tacky 90's way.  These modern gallery frames are the perfect example.
7.  Stylish and affordable (as in not thousands of dollars) media consoles are some of the most difficult furniture pieces to find, so when I saw this piece, I couldn't help but love it.

8. This pillow is a true classic.  Stripes and navy--what's not to love?  Plus CB2 is one of the few companies that sells the cover AND insert (a good one, not a poly filled one) together.
9.  While I am only showcasing this orb, there are a lot of great small accessories offered at CB2.  They are one of my favorite places to go when looking for builtin shelf styling accessories.  
10.  And last but not least a sleek carafe--perfect for your guest room, bedside table, vanity or even your office.  This timeless design will be good for the ages.

Mallory's Summer Favorites

Summer has officially begun, and it has me pulling out my old favorites and enjoying some new finds!  

Cookouts, pool parties and endless hours of daylight are what the doctor ordered, and I'm so thankful to have sandy shores right in my backyard (or close to it!).  Now that the season is in full swing, I thought I'd share with you a few of my summer favorites:

1. Bib Necklace- This ivory beauty makes a statement with any outfit.

2. St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse- My go-to for getting a summer glow without all of the harmful rays.  

3. Margaret Elizabeth Teardrop Bangle- Wear it alone or stack with your favorites, this bangle reminds me of a cool dip in the pool.

4. Straw Hat- A pool or beach must-have!...and less than $15!

5. Metallic Print Glassware, set of 4- These gold gals will make any dinner party a little more glamorous and fun.

6. Black Espadrilles- A staple great for casual wear or a summer night out on the town.

7. Skinnygirl Sangria- Check your local stores.  Sangria is the essential drink of summer, and this one is already mixed and ready to enjoy.  Toss in some fruit (for presentation) and you are set!  

8. Parker Pom Pom Shorts- Pom poms and a fun print.  Need I say more? Freebird Collection knows how to do it right.  These are on their way to my house as we speak!

9. Summertime book- Curated by photographer Joanne Dugan, it's a "photography book about the essence of summer."  AKA happiness on pages.

10. Red Stripe Party Straws- These cheerful, vintage-inspired straws make any drink a little more fun.

11. Driftwood Bar Cart- For a party on wheels that can withstand the elements.   

12. Bell Jar Drink Dispenser- You can serve your summer soiree drinks in style with this elegant dispenser.
